From Two Benches to a Full Factory

Serumpun Woodcraft Sdn. Bhd. began as a two-man carpentry bench serving renovation contractors around Kepong. Word travelled the way it does in Malaysia — one auntie at a time — and the bench became a workshop, the workshop became a factory, and the contractors were joined by homeowners, hotels, clinics and interior design studios from across the Klang Valley.

Today our team of master carpenters, woodworkers and installers has delivered more than a thousand projects. What has not changed: every single piece is still made in-house, in our own factory, by people whose names we know.

We deliberately keep no showroom. Showrooms cost rent, and rent ends up in your quote. Instead we bring the portfolio to you — over WhatsApp, email, or a teh tarik if you are nearby.

The House Rules

Honest Timber

We tell you exactly what goes into your piece — solid wood, plywood grade, board type, hinge brand — and why we chose it for your budget and Malaysia's humidity.

Measure Twice

Every project starts with a site visit and ends with a spirit level. Custom means millimetres, and millimetres are our whole business.

Finish Like We Own It

If a drawer sticks or a door sags, we come back and fix it. Our installers do not consider a job done until you have opened every door yourself.

Who We Work With

Roughly half our order book comes from homeowners — condos in Mont Kiara, terraces in Cheras, family homes in Petaling Jaya. The other half is commercial: offices needing reception counters and conference tables, boutique hotels furnishing suites, clinics and retail spaces wanting fit-outs that survive real traffic.

We also fabricate for interior design firms across Malaysia who bring us their drawings and trust our factory to build them faithfully. If you are a designer with a deadline, we speak fluent CAD and never miss a handover date twice.
